Adrianne graduated with an MFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University and an M.Ed in Advanced Instruction with an Emphasis in Differing Abilities from the University of Southern California.\u00a0 Theatrically she studied extensively at the Old Globe Training Program in London and South Coast Repertory\u2019s Professional Actor Training Program in Irvine, CA.\u00a0 She is currently working on her certification in the Michael Chekhov Technique and the Fitzmaurice Vocal Technique.\u00a0 Adrianne taught Acting, Movement, Voice & Diction and World-Theatre at the L.A. County High School for the Arts and is currently the Visual and Performing Arts Department Chair and Head of Drama at AGBU, a private high school located in the San Fernando Valley.\u00a0 There, she has developed a comprehensive arts curriculum for middle school students through high school which includes study in dance, visual arts, music and drama.\u00a0 Adrianne was the founder of Theatre Pangaea, an award winning Los Angeles theatre company dedicated to the development of new works and the reinvention of the classics.\u00a0 She is also the Co-Creator and former Artistic Director of Shakespearience, an interactive theatre education program designed to introduce Southern California students to Shakespeare.\u00a0 As a stage performer, Adrianne has been seen in dozens of productions most notably alongside Cheetah Rivera in The Mark Taper Forum\u2019s The House of Bernarda Alba<\/em>.\u00a0 She has also been seen in film and on television in such shows as Charmed<\/em> and All My Children<\/em>.\u00a0 Ms. Alvarez-Jackson currently serves DiscoveryOnstage as a Curriculum Development Consultant.<\/p>\n

Noah Breakman has been taking pictures since the seventh grade, but started looking into photography as more of a profession when he started high school. As a Providence High School and DiscoveryOnstage alumnus, Noah’s photography broad portfolio ranges from headshots, portraits, photo booths, action shots \u2013 theatre and sports \u2013 and nature shots. His biggest focus thus far is photographing people. \u00a0Noah currently studies at\u00a0the Rochester Institute for Technology, School of Photographic Arts and Sciences studying Advertising Photography.<\/p>\n

Over the past three years, Rogelio Joseph Caedo has composed over two dozen original songs for DiscoveryOnstage, as well as countless pieces offstage. Before joining the DiscoveryOnstage family as a musician, Rogelio was a student in DiscoveryOnstage’s drama course for two years, before finally graduating in 2011 and taking part in their summer camp as an intern. Since 2013, he has been creating original compositions for the campers, as well as providing for the DiscoveryOnstage News Network and several PHA stage plays, such as Terminal Cafe, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the original PHA production entitled Lily the Glitch.\u00a0Rogelio graduated with a BA in English at the University of California, Riverside, and he strives to become a teacher at the junior high or high school level.<\/div>\n

<\/strong>Beatrice Casini\u2019s arts journey began with an undergraduate Theatre degree from Bradley University where a love affair with costuming began while working for professional bus-and-truck tours of musicals such as Les Miserables, Cats, Starlight Express, A Chorus Line and Jesus Christ Superstar<\/em>. As an actor, she\u2019s had the pleasure of bringing a handful of the Bard’s leading ladies to life for LA area high school students with SHAKESPEARIENCE<\/em> and being part of Circle X Theatre Company\u2019s Laura Comstock\u2019s Bag Punching Dog<\/em>, which won L.A. Ovation Awards for “Best New Musical”, “Best Musical Production\u201d and LA Weekly’s \u201cBest Production\u201d of 2002. She co-founded Theatre Pangaea, bringing Melanie Marnich\u2019s QUAKE<\/em> to its Southern California premiere and earned her graduate degree in Museum Studies in 2011 with a dissertation on utilizing theatrical performance techniques to enliven costume display. She has worked as a certified teacher for the acclaimed and internationally recognized early childhood music literacy program Music Together.<\/em>\u00a0 <\/em>Throughout, Costuming has provided real satisfaction in synthesizing a wide-ranging Arts background. Having done costume work for The Geffen Theatre in Westwood, Pasadena City College, The Glendale Center Theatre, The Peoria Civic Center, Peoples\u2019 Theatre and AGBU High School in Canoga Park, she started her own freelance theatrical costume design practice, Casini Costumes<\/em>, in 2009. Being part of Discovery Onstage <\/em>at Providence High School is a happy culmination of many years in the arts, using the work of the theatre to inspire students towards \u201cimagination over budget and excellence overall!<\/p>\n

As an actor, stunt performer, and fight choreographer, Matt has lent his talents to more than 250 film, television, web, and stage productions. Companies he has worked with include the Guthrie Theater, the Children\u2019s Theatre Company, the Long Beach Playhouse, Four Clowns, Parson\u2019s Nose Theater, Marin Shakespeare Company, Chance Theater, the Minnesota Opera, and the National Theatre for Children.\u00a0Matt holds a BA in Drama\/Speech from Clarke University in Dubuque, IA, and is a graduate of the International Stunt School in Seattle. He currently teaches stage combat at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood and at Swordplay LA in Burbank. Matt is a member of the Society of American Fight Directors, the International Order of the Sword & Pen, and the Association of Theatre Movement Educators.<\/p>\n

Brittany is professional dancer and has been training for over 20 years. She began at Encore Dance Centre and later on attended Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and was trained by members of Alvin Ailey Company and Harlem Ballet. Brittany holds a Bachelors degree in Theatre Arts as well as a minor in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University. She is currently finishing her Masters in Management and will have it completed by June 2016. Brittany has been choreographing and directing for the last eight years in Los Angeles and San Bernardino. She has taught dance for Encore Dance Centre as well as choreographed various musicals for Baldwin Park High School, DiscoveryOnStage, Azusa Pacific University, Monrovia High School, Center Stage Dinner Theater and Foothill Theatre Workshop. Brittany expanded her career through teaching and directing children throughout several arts camps and theatre workshops during the summer season. <\/strong>Julianne\u00a0is an actress and dancer based in Los Angeles. She is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts and the Atlantic Acting School and is a certified Eginton Alignment instructor. Recent projects include performing in \u201cJuiced\u201d, a new short play featured in Green Light Production\u2019s GLO 2014, a collection of new short plays written and directed by Los Angeles women. This past fall, Julianne had the privilege of assistant directing \u201cRACE\u201d at the Kirk Douglas Theatre for Center Theatre Group, after assistant directing in 2012 for CTG\u2019s production of \u201cNovember\u201d at the Mark Taper Forum.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Cathy has been teaching Art for over 40 years. She earned her Master\u2019s Degree from the University of San Francisco in Arts in Private School Administration and her Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University Northridge (CSUN). She began her teaching career in 1978 at St. Genevieve High School where she taught both English and Art. In 1993 she accepted a position at Queen of Angels Seminary where she taught Art and Yearbook and produced and directed the musicals The Sting and Damn Yankees. In 1995, Cathy joined the Providence High School community from which she recently retired after serving as the Visual and Performing Arts Chair for a number of years.\u00a0 While there she taught a variety of art classes throughout the school year including the Animation Class she created and developed on behalf of Providence\u2019s Media Focus Track. In addition, Ms. Main was an active participant in all Providence\u2019s Drama Productions as Set Designer and Producer and, since 2010, has been the Visual Arts Instructor for the Providence High Arts Summer Acting Camp produced by DiscoveryOnstage.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>Vince is a frequent collaborator with Providence High Arts and DiscoveryOnstage, serving as technical director on many live productions and projects.\u00a0 He is an alumnus of Providence High School, which is where he got his start with the organizations.\u00a0 After beginning as a student of the program, Vince has filled positions in lighting, sound, videography, and design for plays, musicals, choral events, and summer programs with with both Providence High Arts and DiscoveryOnstage for many years.\u00a0 He is currently a permanent employee of Providence High School, and a freelance sound and lighting designer for professional theater.<\/p>\n

MAUNDA OYIN – BFA<\/p>\n<\/h4>\n

ACTING TEACHER | DISCOVERYONSTAGE
<\/strong>Maunda Oyin started acting in elementary school, joined her high school’s award-winnning Drama Club, and received a Theatre scholarship from the University of Oklahoma. \u00a0After graduation, she was recruited to join the Karamu House Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio as a member of the Children’s Theatre traveling ensemble. \u00a0Afterwards, she toured the US in a Comedy Gospel musical, performing with several \u00a0Gospel greats. \u00a0Those connections brought her to Los Angeles where Producer Rushion McDonald (Think Like a Man<\/em>) commented on Maunda’s quick wit and advised her to add “comedian” to her list of talents. \u00a0Since then, Maundahas been seen in commercials, television and multiple Indie films, two of which she has written and produced. \u00a0Maunda is the 2013 Ventura Comedy Festival Winner, a California’s Funniest Female Finalist, and received comedic praise from Kim Coles (Living Single<\/em>), Chris Spencer (Husbands of Hollywood<\/em>) and Leslie Jones (SNL<\/em>).<\/p>\n
